In NSW a “workplace” is defined as ANYWHERE a person works, this includes

ALL COMPANY VEHICLES as well as the traditional workplace. A “C” class kit is mandatory under the NSW OH&S regulations in every Company Vehicle

 

If there are more than 25 persons, not limited to staff, at the workplace, TRAINED FIRST AID PERSONNEL must be provided. It is highly recommended by The WorkCover Authority of NSW that if there is the potential for more than 25 persons to be on site at any time, TRAINED FIRST AID PERSONNEL be provided.

 

Places of work (other than construction sites) at which 10 or fewer persons work

 = First Aid Kit “C”

Construction sites at which fewer than 25 persons work or other places of work at which fewer than 100 but more than 10 persons work = First Aid Kit “B”

Construction sites at which 25 or more persons work or other places of work at which 100 or more persons work = First Aid Kit “A”
